The remake of an older piece of art:
For my Conceptual Art class, we were asked to recreate an older piece of art. For this, I chose to work with a not so common material: flower petals. I remember my friends had given me flowers for my birthday, and the project happened to coincide perfectly with when it was due. I used the petals to recreate a bird I had painted in watercolor a few years ago. What was particularly interesting was how the passage of time influenced the bird’s appearance, making it look older and more fragile.
